My old ISP didn't support IPv6 in any capacity. My new ISP does so I can now make my self-hosted services, including this blog, available via IPv6. I'm going to use this occasion to rant about lazy network administrators who don't utilize IPv6 even when they have the opportunity to do so.
When I look at the food pyramid published by the USDA, I can't help but think that the US government wants its people to be obese. The foundation of the pyramid is carbohydrates. It should be protein.

I bought a new laptop, a ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 AMD (that's a mouthful). Lenovo only allows you to configure it with 32 GB of RAM. The spec sheet indicates that it can accept 64 GB of RAM. It actually accepts 96 GB.
If you listen to the left, Trump has officially turned this country into a fascist nation. They say it's obvious to anybody who has eyes to see. Why can't everybody see it? Because nobody can agree on what fascism is or who is a fascist.
You need to try a handgun to ensure it fits you before you buy it, right? That piece of advice has become holy writ in some parts of the shooting community. I don't think this advice is as valuable as many believe.
